The 2017 baseball season for varsity players couldn’t look brighter. With all new coaching staff and fresh senior talent, the season looks bright for these varsity ball players.  “This is the first year where we feel a coach could change things.” Says Dalton Locklear, a varsity pitcher last year and current senior.  “He is a good guy, I believe he will do wonders for LSHS varsity baseball. He has already done a lot for the team during the four months he has been here.”  Jeff Fredrickson, potential varsity 2nd baseman next year explains the potential under a new coach.  “Coming off of a 4-16 season, it’s rough.

— Jeff Fredrickson
