Anna Harvey’s 2017-2018 season was an amazing one to watch. And so far this year she is still lighting up the court in many ways. Anna Harvey is a 5’ 7” senior point guard for the Lakeville South Girls Basketball. She boasts an outstanding 14 points per game. She is an excellent shot creator and a great teammate. She shot an accurate 73.3% free throw percentage in her 2017-18 season. While also having outstanding passing skills with an average of 4 assist per game. Anna doesn’t only excel on the court, she is also an outstanding student.

After interviewing star player Anna Harvey from Lakeville South women’s basketball team we have now heard from the legend herself. She has broken many school records such as most assists in season, and most assists in a single game. Next fall, she is starting a new basketball journey at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. She is very excited and says, “It is gonna be a new adventure”. She believes that this will be a good fit for her, because she knows other players from Minnesota that have committed to Lehigh. After being asked what challenges were she said “intense coaching and getting through slumps”. She overcame these challenges with help from her parents and the rest of her family. She says they mostly help her through the mental game rather than the physical. If given the opportunity however, she would decline a chance to play pro. She plans on majoring in Business and Engineering which is apart of the IBE club.
