Scream started production back in 1996, with multiple movies coming out over the years, with one in 2026. It stars Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, and Matthew Lillard. It takes place in a small town located in California, but don’t let its innocent look fool you, as there’s something very dangerous going on in this town of Woodsboro. It’s the perfect place for a killing spree. The movie is rated R with scenes including graphic material, and inappropriate content, it’s not be for children or the faint of heart. The movie could be described as an old fashioned slasher film that keeps people on their toes with every scene.
The film follows a group of friends in a town where a mass killing is going on. When learning of the killings, the friends go on a detective mission, determined to find the killer. As more and more students and people in the town are being killed, the friends find themselves in a predicament, being the next targets of the killer. They then have to figure out how to survive the killer’s traps and cryptic messages. When they learn the killers identity you are sure to “scream” (pun intended).
The movie is graphic with scenes that could scare even a veteran horror movie enthusiast. The film’s ominous aura and dangerous atmosphere makes you jump at every turn. If you like slashers with a hint of mystery, this one’s for you.
